Trevor's Travels

Summary: We had a great 3rd week in Kissimmee that was a good balance of active and relaxed. We got to use our Get Out Pass a lot and went to a lot of neat places. Our day trip to Tampa was definitely a highlight, as well going to Fun Spot America was a blast. Also, our pool at Tropical Palms was great at 8 feet deep was really fun to swim in.  February 14 Valentine’s Day was a beautiful day down in Florida. We went over to Celebration to walk around their lakes. It was a beautiful park with some amazing houses on the other side of the lake. We saw lots of birds, fish, squirrels and four gators. Afterwards we grocery shopped.  After having lunch at our cabin, we decided to play a family game of bocce ball. Annie did well and Grace and Katie had some timely shots.  The girls relaxed after that and I drove to the 65th Infantry disc golf course.   Summary: Our family had a great week as we were joined by Tim and Carla down at one of our favorite resorts: Holiday Inn Orange Lake. The best part of the week is the lazy river and getting to go in that seven days straight. I love coming around the corner at a nice casual pace to be hit by a waft of honeysuckle aroma. As well, we day tripped into Orlando, went to the Showcase of Citrus and visited the Circle B Bar Preserve (which was super cool).  February 7 We slept in, and then had breakfast and then went to Walmart to do some shopping.  We ate pizza for lunch in the room and then went to the lazy river and pool. We all stayed for about 4 hours alternating between the river, pool, slide, hot tub and just lounging in the Florida sun.   Relaxed for a bit and had dinner.  Drove to Old Town Kissimmee for some window shopping and the car show.
