Summary: A relaxing week at a beautiful area in the Florida Keys. While our cabin was not the best, the campground itself was amazing, loaded with nature. Highlights were seeing a nurse shark, dolphins, snorkeling, beach trips, the diving museum, pool time and the great weather.   January 24 Our first day at Key West was amazing. The sunrises and sunsets here are spectacular. We let the girls sleep in a bit since it was a Saturday and they’d stayed up way too late. The campground hosted a free brunch, so we went to that. We talked to a couple from New Hampshire and they suggested we visit Sombrero Beach, so we did.  After our brunch, we drove about ½ hour to Sombrero Beach. It was a little smaller and tightly packed than what I’d anticipated, but the water was nice. Summary: We had a blast with our week in the Miami area. The weather is just perfect, we went to four gardens, four museums, got plenty of disc golf in, had a beach day and visited the Everglades. The pool at our place was nice as well and the resort had all you can drink coffee (which I drank far too much). This was one of the best weeks of the trip so far, if only Miami didn't have any traffic, it would have been perfect.   January 16 Took off from Fair Play, SC around 6:30 towards Weston, FL. The beginning part of the drive was nice as it was along a highway. It’s about 11 hours of driving.  Pretty boring day for the most part, we just drove and drove. Stopped twice for gas/food, but that’s it.  Our resort is pretty nice: The Mizner in Weston. The room is a bit smaller than I’d hoped, but we’re used to tight places by now.  Bex and I went shopping. Holy moley is Publix expensive. We only bought stuff on sale and decided to venture out to Aldi tomorrow.  ...
